We are taking back science!
We are breaking down paywalls and funding bias to make medical research free, fast, and honest—for everyone.
The Problems
- Knowledge lag – It takes an average of 17 years for new medical research to become common knowledge.
- Paywalls block access to life-changing information—often costing hundreds of dollars a year.
- Researchers rarely earn a cent from their work and rely on grant funding sources to carry out their studies – even those with the potential to save lives!
- Retractions of research studies happen all the time. Retractionwatch.com lists updates of research studies removed from circulation due to fraud or flawed methodology whether accidental or intentional. Retractiondatabase.org is a searchable database of retracted studies.
- Misinformation from online influencers and sources are rampant. This includes healthcare professionals costing the general public time, money, and safety.
- Trust – People including physicians and organizations including governments have made mistakes and even lied!
